Remote control had made our relation with TV a very beautiful one. They have given us the pleasure of sitting in our sofas and enjoy the show we like. In to-days world there are a lot of gadgets getting introduced everyday. That to in the television field there are a enormous release and each one will be having there own 'remote control' to control them. Here are four products tested and reviewed by Christopher Null. They have the ability to control any of the TV sets put in front of them. Here some details about them.
Griffin Beacon:
Beacon is a battery-powered IR blaster. We can connect our iPhone and Android handset to hockey-puck-sized unit via Bluetooth, and the Dijit app does the rest.
Philips Prestigo SRT8215:
The buttons on this hardware remote are where you'd expect for no-look operation, and the 2.2-inch touchscreen handles device-specific controls. Setup requires no codes. We just plug it into a PC or Mac and use a desktop app to program in your components.
Peel Smart Remote:
Peel started as a TV guide and recommendations app. The remote came later, and it feels like an afterthought. You start by plugging a sausage-shaped dongle (not shown) into your router, then place an IR blaster, which Peel calls the "fruit" (left), on your coffee table. The app talks to the sausage via Wi-Fi, the sausage pings the fruit via 2.4-GHz wireless, and the fruit sends IR commands to your A/V center.
VooMoteZapper:
This tiny infrared blaster plugs into the 30-pin connector of any iOS device. Pull up the app with the blaster pointing at your TV and you're good to go. Hacker types will love the anything-goes customization options.
